In June of 1967 when I was working for the H-D dealer in Yonkers NY before I went on the SP the Yonkers PD took delivery of 8 H-D FL's. The dealer, Jack Tracey, sent me with the 8 Motorcops to take a 100 mile or so ride to buy them lunch and put some miles on the bikes before they went into service. I guess I must have had my Kodak with me 'cause I recently found these photos. There was an individual picture of each officer and a group shot of the 8. The officer in the photo is Sgt. Bill Kamp, he retired from the YPD as a deputy commisioner or something. The pictures were taken at Rte. 55 and the Taconic State Parkway in NY about 75 miles north of Yonkers. The siren on the front was one of those that used to come with the auto burglar alarms, in '67 Harley no longer supplied the rear wheel sirens so we had to improvise, they really didn't work out to well and I think YPD replaced them with something better later on.  Everett Pearsall
