January 06, 1975 Officer Robert A. Phillips California Highway Patrol, CA Officer Phillips was killed in a motorcycle accident while on patrol. His rear tire blew out while he was driving, causing him to be thrown to the ground.  Officer Phillips had been with the agency for eight years.

January 19, 1975 Police Officer Michael Ian McDougal Los Angeles Police Department, CA Officer McDougal was killed in a motorcycle accident while on duty

January 23, 1975 Deputy Sheriff Samuel Parker Jr. Orange County Sheriff's Office, FL Deputy Parker succumbed to injuries received in a motorcycle accident one month earlier. The accident caused one of his feet to be severed. As he was being prepared for surgery the next month he suffered a fatal heart attack.

August 7, 1975 Motor Officer Dennis J. Ives Colorado Springs Police  On the morning of August 7, 1975, Officer Ives was en route to assist in the Pageant Parade of the Rockies. While traveling southbound on I-25, just south of Uintah, Ives was involved in an accident. His motorcycle left the right side of the roadway, coming to rest in an area hidden from the roadway and nearby homes. The accident was not discovered until nearly 10:30am. When officers arrived on the scene to investigate, they found that Ives was dead. It was later determined that the accident happened sometime after 6:00am and it is believed that Ives had been alive until approximately 8:00am. Colorado Springs Police Department.

September 27, 1975 Patrolman E. Allen Wakefield Richmond Police Department, VA Patrolman Wakefield was killed in a motorcycle accident at Boulevard and Grove while responding to a call of a suspicious man in a house. He had been with the agency for six years.

December 18, 1975 Police Officer Norman Alvin Drew Key West Police Department, FL Officer Drew was killed in a motorcycle accident while on patrol.
