Police Officer Harry Lorain Conyers Jr.
Clearwater Police Department, FL
Officer Conyers died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident while on his way to assist a neighboring agency. He had been called to escort a deputy who was on a "blood run" to a local hospital. He suffered severe head injuries in the accident and succumbed to those injuries four days later.
Officer Conyers was the first officers with his agency to be killed in the line of duty. He was survived by his wife, two sons, five daughters, and parents.

Officer Medeiros was killed in a motorcycle accident while on patrol.

Police Officer Clarence Leo Wagner
West Palm Beach Police Department, FL
Officer Wagner was killed in a motorcycle accident when another vehicle made a left hand turn in front of his motorcycle. He was responding to an accident with injuries call with his lights and sirens activated when the accident took place. The driver of the other vehicle was charged with causing an accident by failing to yield right-of-way.  Officer Wagner had been with the agency for two years.

Officer Little was killed in a motorcycle while on patrol on Lee Street, SW.

Officer Russell W. Ponton
Metropolitan Police Department, DC
Officer Ponton was killed in a motorcycle accident while responding to an officer needs assistance call. While en route an oil truck turned in front of him causing a collision.  Officer Ponton had been with the agency for six years and was survived by his wife. 
September 01, 1967
Patrol Officer David P. Richards
Seattle Police Department, WA
Officer Richards was killed when the rear wheel of his Harley-Davidson Police motorcycle came loose causing him to lose control and crash into a guardrail.  Officer Richards had been with the agency for one year and was survived by his wife and two daughters.
