Corporal Fulton was killed in a motorcycle accident while patrolling U.S. Route 19 in Summit Township. He had been with the agency for almost eight years and was survived by his mother.

On July 25, 1936, PC Storey was riding his police motorcycle northbound on Hwy. 10 following another vehicle. At this time a southbound vehicle side-swiped the vehicle ahead, crossed the centre line and struck Storey's motorcycle. Constable Storey died at the scene.. He transferred from the Department of Highway Motorcycle Patrol in 1930.

Officer Robert V. Cummins
Tucson Police Department, AZ
Officer Cummins was killed in a motorcycle accident in Phoenix, Arizona, while escorting an American Legion convention parade. While returning to Tucson his police motorcycle skidded on loose gravel at Van Buren and 16th Streets. He was knocked to the ground and received serious head injuries. He succumbed to his injuries three days later.

Officer Earl M. Ames was returning to the CHP Stanislaus office after a special duty assignment in Oakland. Ames was traveling late in the evening through very heavy fog when his motorcycle collided with a city bus. The bus was reportedly almost invisible in the fog because of its newly installed vapor lights. Officer Ames was thrown from his motorcycle and killed
