I am restoring a 1940 Indian Sport Scout Mexico City Police Motorcycle. Can someone out there help me with any photos of tank insignia or emblems or anything. I bought this thing in a series of boxes and would like to return it to what it was. It does not matter to me if they are federal or municipal or even from another city or state.ANything will do as long as it is before around 1957 or so.

I am looking for photographs of Arizona Highway Patrol DPS Kawasaki KZ1000 motorcycles.I have all the usual ones found on the internet, but would like to see any that are not usually published.
They dont have to be perfect, just showing any parts of the bike. Rear views and ****pit views much appreciated. They are just for my own personal research and not commercial. I would be interested to hear from any Arizona Motor Officers too, retired or serving.
Thank you 12/22/10

I understand around 1975-1977 Yamaha made an XS650-P.
I would be interested if any one knew anything about the bike and if it was used in the US.

I have a 48 Indian that has unusual factory options that mark it as having been a police bike. I would like to identify a police department that specified said options to put the bike back into a possibly correct condition. Options are:"crotch" shifter as used on '36 models, ignition switch with a knob (not key), Corbin max speed indicator speedo (rear wheel driven), and two dimmer switches. I can't be sure, but believe the bike was always painted Indian red. Any historic info that might tie my bike to a specific force would be greatly apreciated.

Hi, I just joined your site. I have a 1975 Moto Guzzi 850 T3 police
motorcycle. I am restoring it but in fact a lot of the equipment is still there. The main things it needs are, a radio, radio box, solo seat, a siren, and a small courtesy lamp over the dash area. I have the windscreen, bags, side crash bars, police turn signals and marker lights, pursuit lights, police dash. I am having difficulty locating pictures showing this model with all it's equipment. I have a distributor brochure, but, it appears to be partly faked. Thus I am interested in finding images of this model in action at the
time it was in service. I was thinking it would be best to restore it as equipped and marked up for a particular department, as equipment differed between departments. So I'm looking for information and leads and images, or anything, that will help show examples of how this model was equipped. Thanks, Marty

I am interested in getting my hands on a “1972 Moto Guzzi Eldorado V7 850 Police Special” or similar. I’ve looked on eBay and found one that was completely restored and way out of my price range.
I’m willing to settle for a fixer-upper that I can goof around with a rebuild on my own.
My main problem is a shallow pocket and I know these things are expensive. Please point me in any direction that you think will help me get my hands on one. 1/15/09
