1999 RT1100P with 22,000 miles. Service record shows last service at 19,000. Bike was used as escort with first owner. Still has siren, air horn, and strobe flasher hooked up. Amber strobes have been removed, but available. Bike needs battery, rear tire, and right side bar weight (was knocked over in the garage). ABS light is on and system not working, didn't bother to fix because I didn't need ABS. I would recommend an oil change and basic service, it's been sitting in the garage for about 18 months collecting dust. You can't beat the miles on this bike. I can email pics. 2002 BMW R1150RTP. This is a former Westminster PD bike. It has ALWAYS been service through
the BMW dealer. It has new breaks, throttle cables, new tires and just had
is major 36K service. The bike runs perfectly and is one of the best all
around Police bikes on the market. This model is the same body style you
see the PD's using today. It has 2 keys. Both keys will control the
ignition, the saddle bags and the radio box lock.
WHAT'S ON THE MOTORCYCLE.
It has been equipped for escorting with a full Code 3/Federal LED system.
Motorcycle comes with 8 LED's. 2 front facing, 2 on front side crash bars,
2 on side radio box and 2 on the rear light panel. All LED's are amber. The switch to
the right of the hazard ****on will turn off the rear LED lights if so
desired. These are the same LED's used by Law Enforcement today and are
EXTREMELY bright! Motorcycle is also equipped with a remote Unitrol
system with everything working. The air horn is hooked directly to the factory
horn switch. The unitrol use is controlled with the control center under
the left handle bar. The switch above the red switch toggles left and
right to control either unitrol sounds. There is a hidden switch
to deactivate the unitrol but keep the PA active. The red ****on activates
the PA and the black ****on is the Push-to-Talk ****on for your radio. This
system alone is a $1200 system! It is made by PVP Communications in
Torrance, CA. You will need to add a helmet kit to your helmet and get a
handheld radio adapter for your particular handheld radio in order to use
the PA and Push-to-Talk features. The cord you see hanging down the side
from the seat is what you would plug in to your radio adapter. The
motorcycle also has a Whalen 100 watt motorcycle speaker that is extremely
loud! I WILL ALSO CONSIDER SELLING THE BIKE WITH OUT THE LIGHTS AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE. LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.
THE ONLY THING NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE IS THE KENWOOD RADIO. I am asking $9900 fully equiped minus the radio, or $7900 without the lights, radio and communication system. Thanks.
