2004 BMW R1150RT, Police Bike: This bike is in immaculate condition with very low miles 26,473 and was briefly used by Peoria (AZ) Police Department.
The bike is all original with accurate mileage under 27,000 never in an accident, perfect engine and bodywork. The bike has a clear NY Title. Black & White in color with reflective 3M stripes. Tires are great, Oil Change and Batteries with Battery Tender. I also just spent $ 2700 having the clutch spline replaced and the read drive shaft completely gone through by the BMW dealership in Danbury CT.
This will be a worry free bike going forward. Many photographs available. It has all the strobes ( Red & Blue) fitted and functional. The bike also has GE Ranger Radio head (not connected) with original CHP antenna. Code 3 Siren, air horn with speaker.
Bike is located approx. 1 Hr north of NY City. NOTE: the price is $6000.00 with all the LE equipment on and operational or $5500 without the equipment. Also If you want/need the Law enforcement equipment I will ask you to sign a waiver against mis-use of the lights/siren etc.

I am looking for a product that the company Elektror made many years ago during the 1960's. It is a siren that was used on BMW police motorcycles. It is chrome and black and has the one I have seen has a plate with the following marks: ELEKTROR, K.W. Muller, Esslingen, Type: FS00, Nr. 280362, 6v, 12 A. Obviously this item is not still in production but would there be anyone that might know where I could acquire this item? The reason I ask is that I have a 1965 BMW R27 polizei that I have restored but needs a siren to make it complete. 05/7/09

1999 RT1100P with 22,000 miles. Service record shows last service at 19,000. Bike was used as escort with first owner. Still has siren, air horn, and strobe flasher hooked up. Amber strobes have been removed, but available. Bike needs battery, rear tire, and right side bar weight (was knocked over in the garage). ABS light is on and system not working, didn't bother to fix because I didn't need ABS. I would recommend an oil change and basic service, it's been sitting in the garage for about 18 months collecting dust. You can't beat the miles on this bike. I can email pics. Also willing to trade for RMZ450, I'm done with street riding. Must sell quick, race season is about to start.. 1/04/09
